CodeHub
A platform connecting developers with opportunities
The Story
The Struggle
It started with a simple goal: making money. I created a Fiverr account and waited, but the orders never came. I turned to freelancing Discord servers, posting my services, but still—silence. I realized that if I was struggling this much to find work as a developer, others must be too.
The Idea: SkillHub to CodeHub
I decided to build a solution myself. I envisioned a platform to help developers—whether experienced or green—get hired and gain experience. Initially named 'SkillHub', I pivoted to 'CodeHub' to specifically target the developer community.
V1: The Learning Curve
Details on V1 development... It took about 2 months to reach a 'finished' state for Version 1. I was proud but unsatisfied. The site was slow, the design didn't match my vision, and I couldn't crack the payment system integration. It was a functional prototype, but not a product.
The Pivot & Mastery
I took a step back. For the next 5 months, I dedicated myself to mastering Next.js and Stripe. I came back determined. Leveraging modern AI tools and my deepened understanding of full-stack development, I rebuilt CodeHub from the ground up.
Current Status
The new version is a work in progress, expected to launch fully in January 2026. It features a robust payment system, a high-performance backend with Supabase, and a sleek, modern UI.
